Welcome to the Peter Swalm Memorial Fund
"Peter had a sincere love and ability to make friends with anybody regardless of race, color, creed, gender or whatever. Peter had a
wonderful ability to see deep within people; people of any age, people in leather, pierced people, folks in suits or nice dresses, blue jeans or
with what we might call “weird hair.” Peter touched many people with his ability to show love. Camp Barnabas taught him how to direct this love by
teaching him how to be a servant. He thought of himself as not being the best, but he was the BEST SON. He loved skating, soccer, music, playing the
sax and being with people who he could encourage and love. He would often stop to pull someone out of a ditch. No job was too menial, if he was
serving someone else. His greatest talent was making people know that he cared for them." (Jan and Mike Swalm)
