1.      There are a lot of different events going on.  Is it possible to participate in all of them?

Yes, if you arrive at noon you can drop off your cookies (and your child’s) for the bakeoff contest.  You can begin to look at the various auction items and your child can begin fun activities outside. 

12:00  You can begin to bid on auction items, and your child can get their face painted, or visit the balloon man. 

1:00  The award for best cookie will be awarded. The first table of the auction will close.

1:00  You can begin tasting cookies, and participate in taster’s choice voting.  Don’t forget to check back on the special auction item you want.

1:00-2:00  Bid high, and bid often!  Silent auction in full swing, and the kids are having a blast! Tables will close every 15 minutes.

2:00  purchase the cookies that you like.

2:30  You will be full, your kids will be tired, and it will be time to sit down and enjoy the final presentation.  We will be playing a video of Camp Barnabas, (about 12 minutes long) and we will present the awards for kid’s cookie contest.  You will officially meet Peter’s family members.

3:00  All of the votes will be counted, and the winner of the taster’s choice cookie will be announced.

2.      Sounds like a lot of fun, but how much does all this cost?

We believe that generosity begets generosity.  We ask that you make one donation for the whole day.  If that is not possible, just join us in celebrating Peter’s life.

If you participate in voting for taster’s choice for best cookie, votes are $1 per vote.

If you participate in the silent auction, you will determine the amount of your bids.

3.      Can I come and go through out the day?

Absolutely.  In fact we will have “stand in bidders” who you can ask to place bids for your auction items, should you have to leave early. 

Come for as long as you can and stay as long as you can. 

4.      I will be out of town, but I’d like to show my support through a donation.  How do I do that?
